Goals of the Chamber

1. To lobby government in a non-confrontational, independent manner at the local level, in order to produce legislation that will allow business, trade and commerce to grow and prosper.

2. To act as a catalyst with all levels of the educational system in order to ensure a quality workforce, thereby allowing business, trade and commerce access to a local source of skilled and qualified labour resource.

3. To promote Welland and Pelham, both within and outside of the communities, in order to ensure that the amenities and benefits of residing and conducting business in our communities is advocated to the greatest extent possible.

4. To allow members of the Chamber to meet, promote their business, and to exchange ideas and opportunities.

5. To recognize outstanding achievements in business, trade and commerce in Welland and Pelham, and to promote the business community in general to the public.

6. To ensure the business community is aware of the benefits and privileges of Chamber membership and to investigate and implement all opportunities which ensure the continued growth of Chamber membership.
